Hello- We currently have 13 to 15 inches of ice with 4-8 in of snow we’ve been out up to 3 miles. Walleye bite has been good lots of small fish with keepers mixed within on the humps on top or on top of the edges of the bars mainly 18 to 25 ft of water. Perch has been alright havent found to many at this time 18 to 25 ft has been best. Public access customers we are only allowing Atvs and side by sides out still not enough ice to drive vehicles anyone looking to come up were open 7 am to 10 am for access or bait. *****NO WHEELHOUSES OR TRUCK TRAFFIC AS OF NOW***** Please keep an eye on this page if you have a reservation with us, we plan to change things as the Governor lets up on us to be able to have the lodge open etc. As things change for us we will post our plans on here for everyone to keep up to date. We are sanitizing and doing everything we can to make sure your stay with us is safe. Thank you for sticking with us during these abnormal circumstances, we are so glad we can be open for our guests to get out of the house and FISH! See you soon!!! Check-in- for check in’s we are asking everyone to go straight to their cabins. Upon arriving to your cabin there will be a paper with phone numbers and other procedures on it in the cabin. We ask that ONE person from each cabin text the designated number on the sheet with the following info- Name & cabin # . After one person from the cabin texts the number in the cabin you will receive a photo of our lake map of our plowed roads, if you need a paper copy brought down to the cabin just let us know. If you have a house rented the map will show you how to arrive there and you will find out which house you’re in each evening by texting/calling us. Our phone numbers will be listed in the cabins so you will be able to reach us if the lodge is closed and you are in need of something. **The extra cleaning time will push check in time to 3PM. *** We know a lot of winter guests arrive early in the day, please plan ahead for not being able to get into the cabin until 3pm. You can get into the cabin earlier if you have spoken to us and we have given the clear that your cabin is already clean prior to your arrival. If you are arriving on a cleaning day that is the case where you cannot check into your cabin until 3pm.** Check-out- For check out we will have the lodge open from 5PM-8PM the night before your departure day. If your fish aren’t done getting cleaned the night before departure date we will be doing some check outs in the AM as well but if you’re able to we would like to do some check outs in the evening. One person from each cabin can gather all guests’ payments, and that one person can come into the lodge with all cash or card payments all receipts will be sent back with that person. We can do card payments over the phone as well if needed. Cabins- As we did this summer, all the cabins are cleaned and then all surfaces sanitized. The only thing we removed from the cabins are the blankets. All cabins have SHEETS on the beds, but no blankets so you will need to bring your own blankets. Bath and kitchen towels are still in the cabins as usual as we sanitize them in-between each use per our normal routine.
