!! Ice Update !!
We are open Dec. 27th!
Ice is at 14 inches barely any snow so make sure to bring your ice cleats. We currently have an active crack out in front of resort that were crossing 300 yards out so as of now we will be allowing all machines and 1/2 ton trucks with up to 16 ft single axle houses out of our access on. Map at the bottom of post just showing how to go out and get across the crack then once you pass the 2nd cone location showed, you can head where you want to fish from there..!!
We have fathead and sucker minnows and propane filling.
Access = $20 a day
Drop box if office isn't open is located on left side of main road coming in under office sign!
We have plenty of parking area on shore
Anything changes with the crack we will post soon as we know or change in location of crossing.

While we are off to a great start this winter with ice conditions, we just want to remind everyone that there is no such thing as “safe” ice. Always pay attention to your surroundings, check in with local resorts to be aware of any cracks/heaves/or off limit areas before heading out.

You can purchase your MN DNR fishing licenses online at the following link:

Click the link and then click the blue "get started" button and enter your information, you will instantly have a valid license after paying, a physical copy is not needed. Keep your phone on you while fishing and your digital proof of purchase/digital license is acceptable if an officer asks for your license. Here are some bullet points straight off the DNR website. 

• If you choose to receive your license electronically on your mobile device via text message, email or both, you do not need to print your license. Upon request of an enforcement officer, your device must be able to display the text message and/or email you received.
• You will be able to print and use most license/passes/certificates immediately; however, if your purchase cannot be printed because it requires a tag or sticker (i.e., deer, bear, turkey, shelter) you must wait for it to arrive in the mail before participating in the activity.
• Licenses that require a tag or sticker should be received by US postal mail within 5 to 10 business days from the date of your online purchase.
